About me:
My story is proof that you don’t need connections or a lot of money to make your dreams come true, just determination.
I was born in Nukus (Uzbekistan), and at the age of 19, I moved to Almaty on my own, driven by the desire to build a career and live “like in a TV series.” In Almaty, I started with $100 a month and sold salads at the market with my family just to pay for housing. I worked as an employee for about 10 years, but entrepreneurship has always been in my blood.
In 2015, guided by intuition rather than calculation, I opened my first boutique of Korean goods, “Made in Korea,” with a partner. We started with minimal investment, and our customers themselves suggested the product range. Soon, the brand was renamed Miko.
The challenging year of 2020 served as a springboard for me. We developed the Miko franchise (in partnership with FRANCHISE CAPITAL, by the way). Today, Miko is no longer just Korean goods, but also a number of independent projects: clothing stores, children’s goods, fast food, cleaning, and much more. We have opened almost 50 retail outlets. I am very proud that most of our franchisees are members of the Business Club, where I draw strength and support.
My mission has gone beyond Miko. I strive not only to scale our brand to 25 countries around the world, but also to help others. As Managing Director of FRANCHISE CAPITAL Kazakhstan, I actively help my fellow compatriots build their own franchise businesses. I am confident that success requires not so much a financial base as an idea and a dream. I am ready to share my experience so that Kazakh entrepreneurs make fewer mistakes.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling and studying Korean culture and art.
